Own the architecture and hands-on development of the Rolemint platform. You'll be the technical anchor of our engineering team — writing production code daily while defining the contracts, guardrails, and documentation that allow others to contribute safely to a complex, AI-integrated system.
What You'll Own
- AI/LLM integration — Gemini-powered CV parsing, skill extraction, career recommendations, and learning path generation
- System design across four codebases: FastAPI backend, LMS service, Next.js web app, and React Native mobile app
- Database schema ownership — PostgreSQL 17 with pgvector, Alembic migrations, async SQLAlchemy
- Developer experience and contractor enablement — CI gates, type safety, test coverage, and clear work-package scoping
Requirements
- 5+ years professional software development, 2+ in a lead or senior architect role
- Hands-on production LLM integration experience — prompt versioning, output validation, failure modes, cost management
- Strong Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript (Next.js / React)
- PostgreSQL expertise including schema design, migrations, and query optimization
- GCP experience (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Vertex AI) or equivalent cloud depth
- Experience scoping work and reviewing code from distributed contributors
